The MindShifting framework grew out of years of conversations—with students, educators, leaders, and families—about what happens inside our minds when things get difficult. Again and again, the same patterns appeared: moments when our brains push us toward reaction instead of reflection, conflict instead of connection, or frustration instead of forward movement.
Those conversations eventually became the foundation for the MindShifting framework, which centers on three mindsets that help people navigate challenges more effectively: Resourcefulness, Resilience, and Collaboration. The books explore these mindsets in practical ways, helping readers recognize what’s happening in their thinking and learn how to shift toward more productive responses.
You may notice something slightly unusual about the series. The first book is Volume 1 (on Resourcefulness), and the next is Volume 3 (on Collaboration).
While the framework has three pillars, it felt like the right moment to focus on collaboration—especially how we navigate disagreement and conflict in ways that move us forward. So Mitch jumped ahead and wrote that book next.
Volume 2, which will focus on Resilience, is planned for release in late 2026.
Each book stands on its own, but together they explore the three core MindShifting mindsets: strengthening resourcefulness, building resilience, and learning how to collaborate even when things are challenging.

If you’ve ever felt stuck, overwhelmed, or limited by past experiences, this book is for you. If you’ve ever found yourself angrily reacting to another person or situation without being able to make a positive impact, this book is for you. If you’ve ever felt absolutely sure of something, and later found out you might have missed something that was right in front of you, this book is for you;
MindShifting will show you how to take control of your mind and reshape your future.
In MindShifting: Stop Your Brain from Sabotaging Your Happiness and Success, Mitch explores the hidden cognitive patterns that shape our decisions, habits, and emotions. This book is a science-backed guide to recognizing and reprogramming the thought loops that limit personal and professional success.

Conflict is unavoidable—but it doesn’t have to divide us. Too often, our brains default to fight, flight, or freeze, escalating tension instead of resolving it. In MindShifting: Conflict and Collaboration, Mitch Weisburgh shows how to shift from the “survival mind” into the Sage Mindset, where empathy, curiosity, and innovation open the door to stronger relationships and shared success.
This practical, research-driven guide offers clear tools for navigating disagreements at work, at home, and in society. You’ll learn how to calm emotional triggers, adapt conflict resolution styles to fit the situation, use Motivational Interviewing to guide others toward change, and apply Nonviolent Communication to master difficult conversations. You’ll also discover how stress and group dynamics shape conflict—and how to turn them into opportunities for collaboration.
Building on his first book, MindShifting: Stop Your Brain from Sabotaging Your Happiness and Success, Weisburgh takes the next step: helping us not just master ourselves, but move forward together. The takeaway is simple yet transformative: conflict is inevitable—collaboration is a choice.

Great conversations start with great questions—and MindShifting books are built on both.
Whether your group is diving into the patterns that shape our inner world (MindShifting: Stop Your Brain from Sabotaging Your Happiness and Success) or exploring how to turn friction into understanding (MindShifting: Conflict and Collaboration), every page opens the door to meaningful dialogue.
